This past Saturday we had 15 Scouts (boys & girls) with 6 parents participating in trail work thanks to Scoutmaster Hank Burton. It was a beautiful fall day and we accomplished a substantial amount of pruning and brushing on Splash Dam Trail. It was a win/win event as Scouts acquired conservation related service work towards their merit badges and HoH had trail work volunteers. Jess, Roger, Greg & Lisa rounded out the crew.
Please join HoH for our last trail work day of the year, Saturday Oct. 22nd meeting at 9am Blackwater Bikes. We plan to continue work on the middle part of Splash Dam Trail near the power lines.
