Trail Work Updates September 2022
Four volunteers joined HoH for our Tuesday trail work night. Brushing and trimming back was done on the River Road Trail in addition to drainage work. One washed out culvert near the pond has been replaced with two culverts thanks to Charles Barker owner of H&H Hardware in Thomas, WV.
Zachary Adams the owner of Appalachian Dirt ( https://appalachiandirt.com/ ) in Davis, WV has been volunteering his time and equipment this month, fixing areas in need on Promised Land Trail. Zach’s company is also working for the West Virginia Land Trust, relocating the north ends of Trials and Yellow Creek Trails off of private lands and onto Yellow Creek Natural Area and creating a more sustainable Moon Rocks trail system.
